YANTRA is a first-of-its-kind initiative with the intention to nurture evidence-based inclusive, integrative healthcare and is the background of the recently concluded WHO Traditional Medicine Global Summit 'Towards Health and Well-being' held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

The event is organized by Department of Integrative Medicine, NIMHANS with student partner 'Jignasa', on the theme 'Models of Integration in Health Care' under the chairmanship of ISRO chairman, Mr. S. Somnath and attracting 1400 participants.

He emphasized the efforts to integrate Ayush systems into mainstream healthcare & stressed on Integrative Healthcare to enhance service delivery, integrative research & education as promoting innovation, and redefining the future of healthcare is key to betterment of humanity.
