To have an Admiralty Board in the boardroom in the last few days of my Naval Career is very special. I was able to soak up the atmosphere whilst engaging in some really strategic discussions. The Royal Navy will maintain its position as a world class truly global Navy. #2SLzoff x.com/admphilipjones…
Great to see the Royal Navy engineering challenge went so well. Very disappointed to have missed it yesterday. x.com/scarboroughutc…
A great event showcasing the skills of young people with a passion for engineering and STEM. The Royal Navy is a super high tech organisation and we need to play our part in growing the Nations engineers for the future, that’s why we support UTColleges #YoE x.com/royalnavy/stat…
A very happy birthday to #RoyalFleetAuxiliary, formed on this day in 1911. They share in the distinguished history of Royal Navy and today their specialist support ships are an integral part of the fleet, working with our warships across the globe
101 years on from the unveiling of the Boy Cornwell VC, we recorded Kate Nesbitt’s bravery and reflect on our modern diversity. Royal Navy

This portrait tells the story of the courage and bravery of Chief Kate Nesbitt MC and will inspire sailors for years to come. It shows true bravery and grit from a woman in Ground Close Combat. She stood and faced the enemy to ensure the best care for her colleague. #Humbled x.com/hms_raleigh/st…

My final and 102nd parade HMS Raleigh. More impressive young men and women joining the Royal Navy. I am so proud to have passed them out on my last Friday in the Royal Navy. #2Slzoff
So proud to have been able to present POPT Woodhead my commendation. He saved a trainees life in the swimming pool HMS Raleigh administering CPR. It is not often you meet individuals who do these amazing things. A young man has a life ahead of him thanks to PO Woodhead’s actions

I have left the building. Very moving to say goodbye to the HQ and then to be waved off by the ships alongside in Portsmouth. I have been humbled by my experiences as 2SL and by our amazing people. A final #2SLfie with some of my team and my final tweet. Royal Navy #2SLzoff
