Happy Ramadan! Ramadan is an annual holiday that Muslims observe as part of the five pillars of Islam. One purpose of Ramadan is to practice resilience, compassion and empathy as they embark a month-long journey towards spiritual reflection, increased devotion and worship

During this observance, Muslims are restricted from eating and drinking thus students may experience some lack of energy during this time. Muslims fast from sun-rise to sun-set. Hence students will fast approximately 14 hours a day.
