“The Last Run” The last photo of NYPD Ladder 118 crossing the Brooklyn bridge - The firefighters in that truck would never make it home again. An important reminder that even in our nation’s darkest moments, Americans don’t give up.

At 8:45am this morning I was in the U.S. Capitol when a voice came on to talk about 9/11 and a moment of silence was requested at 8:46 to honor the lives lost on that day. I’ve never heard such immediate silence and reverence inside any building. ❤️🤍💙

Today’s annual Day of Caring planned by United Way of Utah County resulted in more than 1,500 volunteers gathering for a kickoff breakfast and then serving in 71 projects in the area. As we continue to come together in united service, great things will continue in our county.

This morning I sent a letter to Treasurer Marlo Oaks regarding Utah’s pension funds and exposure to hostile foreign influences including CCP military contractors. Treasurer Oaks has been a leader on this issue & I am looking forward to supporting his efforts 🇺🇸

The most pressing issue facing the state of Utah today is governance by initiative. We can either remain the best-managed state in the nation or we can become like California, where well-intentioned initiatives have produced disastrous, unintended consequences.

As someone who grew up in Ferron and went to San Rafael Jr. High, the Swell was our back yard. The fact the Bureau of Land Management Utah wants to lock us out of areas we have responsibly recreated for generations is so disappointing.
