Meet Billy, our local hero from the St. George Field Office! 🏞️ Billy logs hundreds of volunteer hours each year transforming areas once cluttered with debris into pristine natural spaces.
Help us celebrate and the difference he makes every day! 🎉

Happy #FossilFriday ! Ever wonder how petrified wood is made? It starts when plant material gets buried and is protected from decay. Over time, water rich with minerals replaces the original material, turning wood into a detailed stone record. Isn't nature amazing?
🚵♀️ Rising like a phoenix, the Revenant Trail along Old Highway 91 in Washington County is back—thanks to the Trail Alliance of Southern Utah & BLM Utah. #NationalVolunteerWeek

Maguire daisy is a perennial found in only three Utah counties. The species occurs primarily on Navajo Sandstone formations but is also found on the Wingate and Chinle formations. Expect to see these beauties in bloom in June and July.

A big thanks to the Lake Mountain Trails Association, Westlake MTB & Cedar Hills MTB teams for their Trail Therapy day in Eagle Mountain. We are grateful to groups who practice #LeaveNoTrace principles & keep our lands clean for all to enjoy. #VolunteerRecognitionDay
A heartfelt thank you to all the dedicated Washington County community members who teamed up with Conserve Southwest Utah and BLM Utah last week to tackle invasive weeds threatening the endangered Shivwits milkvetch.
