On July 31st, we lost another agent in the line-of-duty. Supervisory Border Patrol Agent Daniel Cox of Tucson Sector was involved in a vehicle accident on duty. Agent Cox entered on duty on July 28, 1997. We will always remember him and his sacrifice.

Saturday, the #USBP Marine Unit intercepted a fishing vessel with 16 smuggled migrants aboard. Smuggling along the CA coastline is not only illegal, it's inherently dangerous for all involved parties. The boat operators now face Federal charges. Read: go.usa.gov/xF5Pt
