4/8: USBP agents in San Diego, CA assisted Mexican officials w/ rescuing a total of 39 migrants from 2 Mexican human traffickers during 2 binational efforts.

4/8: USBP agents in El Paso, TX disrupted a smuggling operation that was using apartments to stash 27 illegal migrants.

4/7: USBP agents in Buffalo, NY assisted our local law enforcement partners in the search for a runaway 15 year old female. A K9 team & drone were utilized to locate the female in a heavily wooded area.

Fortunately, she was found in good health & returned to her family.

4/8: USBP agents in Ajo, AZ responded to a 911 call from a Mexican National in distress.

Fortunately, an AZ DPS rescue helicopter w/ a BORSTAR paramedic on board located, applied tourniquets, & safely extracted the subject for further medical evaluation.

This past weekend, USBP agents throughout the southwest border interdicted ~270 lbs. of hard narcotics.

This time, over $6M in highly addictive and toxic drugs.
+220 lbs. of Cocaine
+40 lbs. of Methamphetamine
+3 lbs. of Fentanyl

3/31: USBP agents in Ysleta, TX arrested an undocumented subject w/ an active warrant for Attempted Homicide from his home country of Honduras.

He will be prosecuted, removed, and extradited to serve jail time for his criminal act.

4/3: USBP agents in Del Rio, TX arrested 2 sex offenders w/prior felony convictions to include sexual assault of a child, and sexual assault. They will now face criminal prosecution and removal from the country.

4/3: USBP agents in Ysleta, TX arrested a Venezuelan w/ no prior criminal history but w/ tattoos associated to the Tren de Aragua Gang.

Watch out for this gang. It is the most powerful in Venezuela, known for murder, drug trafficking, sex crimes, extortion, & other violent acts.

3/26: USBP agents in Ysleta, TX arrested a Honduran male, who self-admitted to a 2013 arrest for Raping a 14-year old minor in Honduras.

3/26: USBP agents in El Paso, TX arrested an illegal migrant from Venezuela with a warrant out of Fort Worth, TX for Theft of a Firearm & Tampering with Evidence.

He will now be extradited to face charges.

3/27: USBP agents in Deming, NM arrested a Mexican national w/ prior convictions for 1st Degree Murder, Battery, Stalking, & Probation Violations.

This is what’s known as an aggravated felon. He does not belong in the U.S., let alone in your communities.

3/25: USBP agents in Las Cruces, NM busted a stash house, arresting 10 illegal migrants including 2 principals & 1 'Paisas' gang member.

The AUSA accepted prosecution on the principals for Conspiracy to Transport & the 'Paisas' gang member for felony re-entry into the US.

3/15: An off-duty USBP agent in Gaithersburg, MD saw an unconscious male lying on a gym floor with a head wound & no pulse. He had a gym-goer start CPR while he obtained an AED. The male became responsive after an AED shock, no doubt saving his life.

3/24: USBP agents in Ramey, Puerto Rico and local Police seized a small fishing vessel w/ 247 bricks of cocaine (+605 lbs.) worth $4,675,000.

The vessel operators 'beached' the boat, absconded into the brush, and remain at large.

3/21: USBP agents in Las Cruces, NM, arrested 2 Cuban nationals at a checkpoint. They are Lawfully Admitted Permanent Residents(legally in the U.S.) However, they were caught smuggling 23 illegal migrants!

The AUSA will prosecute & if convicted, they can be removed from the U.S.

3/20: USBP agents in Texas & Arizona arrested 5 child predators w/ prior felony convictions that include Sexual Assault of a Child & Criminal Sexual Contact of a minor under 13.

So far in FY24, USBP has arrested 112 criminals w/ prior convictions for sex offenses.

So far this month, USBP has seized over 14K lbs. of controlled substances worth over $25M.

Anti-Smuggling Operations:
3/19: After executing 3 warrants in Phoenix, AZ, USBP agents from Tucson Sector arrested 4 principals & 29 illegal migrants. They also seized 10 cell phones, 1 firearm, & $1.5K USD.

The principals will be charged with 8 USC 1324.

3/18: USBP agents in Alpine, TX assisted Texas DPS troopers w/ rescuing 3 migrants from a hidden compartment w/ no means of escape during a human smuggling attempt.

This is one of the many ways smugglers jeopardize migrant lives for profit.

3/14: USBP in El Paso, TX arrested a Colombian attempting to enter the country illegally. Agents searched the subject & found photos of people being tortured on his phone. He also had specific tattoos indicative of gang membership (Clan del Golfo).
