WHY IS THE WHITE HOUSE MORE COMMITTED TO CARRYING OUT YOUTH CLIMATE ACTIVISTS THAN CARRYING OUT A CAMPAIGN PROMISE TO STOP DRILLING??

We cannot turn away from this. Mayor Muriel Bowser is evicting encampments all over DC on a regular, often weekly, basis. Evictions are cruel, traumatic, and make it harder to end homelessness. Shame.

Yesterday, a unhoused man was choked to death by a United States marine on a NYC Subway. I'm heartbroken. And also, not funding housing kills. Evicting encampments kills. Policy choices that allow homelessness to exist kill. May their memories compel us to do better.
