Despite being a water bender, I have made it clear my commitment is to those underserved by our current government. Right now that is the non-benders. For too long, benders like myself have taken advantage of their fellow citizens. But no longer!

Effective immediately, Avatar Korra will no longer be welcome for weekly policy discussions. It is clear she shows no interest in the agenda my administration is putting forward.

In my first address to the Council, I highlighted our commitment to the non benders of the Republic, and continuing to dismantle the failed policies of the Moon Administration. We have a great four years ahead of us!

We need strong Unity Party council members to continue our historic administration's agenda! Please vote!

Perhaps the Vice President shouldn't be counting her possum chickens before they hatch. We are going to win, and the Vice President has already agreed to a second term as such. She should get comfortable in her office because she's going to stay there for four more years.

Make no mistake... despite the absurdity of the court's ruling, I plan to appoint a Vice President. Even if we do not prevail, I have no interest in being part of a government that will destroy all of our hard work.

I am pleased to announce I am nominating a great Unity ally, Senator Nemain for Vice President. She will be a great ally as we finish our historic administration and I look forward to her swift confirmation.

Today, I am proud to once again sign a proclamation declaring Liberation Day, when Avatar Korra and her friends liberated us from the Earth Empire.

As I make my final speech here, I wish the President-elect the best, and look forward to continuing our work as a private citizen. Thank you for trusting me the last four years. This is not the end for our movement.

I am deeply concerned about reports I've heard about Equalists still operating in Republic City. To be clear, I am speaking of Equalists who maintain the radical agenda of Amon. Those who seek true equality will have no issue.

We will not allow anyone to infringe on anyone's rights as long as I am president. Benders are entitled to their right to bend, and non-benders are entitled the right to defense mechanisms.
