At exactly 2:08 pm EAT today, hired goons stormed our office—sent by the state to silence dissent. They violently disrupted a press conference by Kenyan mothers calling for an end to arbitrary arrests, enforced disappearances, and extrajudicial killings targeting protesters ahead

Saba Saba isn't just a date; it's a declaration of a liberated Country. Today, we rekindle the revolutionary spirit that demands justice, rejects oppression, and fights for the Kenya we deserve. The power is with the people! #SiriNiNumbers #SabaSabaRevolutionDay

IMLU strongly urges the police to use non-violent methods to manage and de-escalate situations and avoid the use of unnecessary force on #SabaSaba2025 protesters. For emergency response, call us toll-free on 0800 721 401. #77NiNumbers #FreeToProtest

What kind of country is this? They kill you and drag you like you like piece shi*t. The dead also deserve some dignity. The police think they are fighting us but they are making everything worse for Kenyans including themselves. #MapinduziKE #SabaSaba2025

Shooting civilians, regardless of where, is an outrageous violation of the law and human rights. It is deeply concerning that such an act could be framed as acceptable. "Mr. Ruto Kenya cannot afford a message that emboldens a trigger-happy police force. Stand down!".

Huruma Police beat up those arrested on 7/7/25, after asking for food and water. This young man was beaten and later released when they realized the injuries were grave. The courts too, have become complicit as they are working with the state to extend the illegal detention.

Memory loss or dimentia? Mr. President, you shouldn't be threatening Kenyans. Please ask Mr. Ruto what changed? #MapinduziKE #WeAreAllKikuyus
