Last Thursday we visited the Santry River with Diogo Bolster and colleagues from University of Notre Dame. We met up with some of our citizen scientists, who discussed their findings. #CitizenScience is about a two-way partnership. We learn from our collaborators in local communities, who are monitoring on Urban Citizen's 6.3.2. Today, some of our #CitizenScientists came on to Dublin City University for a workshop on macroinvertebrates with the fab Laura Ribero. We are now Research Ireland

Congrats to Urban Citizen's 6.3.2's fab '23 summer intern Lizzie Stifel, who graduated from University of Notre Dame last weekend. Lizzie helped set up the community groups, via University of Notre Dame Dublin's programme. Her water adventures continue- Lizzie secured a Princeton in Asia fellowship to work at IWMI.
Welcome to our summer interns! Meet Christine, Jack, Beibhinn and Roisín, who will spend two months working on the data that has been gathered so far on Urban Citizen's 6.3.2. They are looking forward to getting stuck in, and to getting into the field and meeting communities too.
Super-proud of the 4 interns who have spent the past 8 weeks working on the data from Urban Citizen's 6.3.2. We have ONE year of data, and 327 samples gathered by our #citizenScientists. We are now Research Ireland
Today we were delighted to host a group of students & staff from Tsinghua University and University of Notre Dame Beijing. We met our citizen scientists in Santry Park, and we discussed how citizen science can help rivers across the globe. Thank you University of Notre Dame Dublin for connecting us!
