Training along the Santry was a success! Some of our volunteers received the second and final part of their training by learning how to collect CSSI samples in the field. Thanks to all those that came out - we cannot wait to see the great work you will do!

#CitizenScience is about a two-way partnership. We learn from our collaborators in local communities, who are monitoring on Urban Citizen's 6.3.2. Today, some of our #CitizenScientists came on to Dublin City University for a workshop on macroinvertebrates with the fab Laura Ribero. We are now Research Ireland

Congrats to Urban Citizen's 6.3.2's fab '23 summer intern Lizzie Stifel, who graduated from University of Notre Dame last weekend. Lizzie helped set up the community groups, via University of Notre Dame Dublin's programme. Her water adventures continue- Lizzie secured a Princeton in Asia fellowship to work at IWMI.

Today we were delighted to host a group of students & staff from Tsinghua University and University of Notre Dame Beijing. We met our citizen scientists in Santry Park, and we discussed how citizen science can help rivers across the globe. Thank you University of Notre Dame Dublin for connecting us!
