Fairy Tale dress up fun!

A big thank you to UPM Raflatac for sponsoring our third grade field trip to the Cradle of Forestry. The third graders learned how the early mountain community depended on each other and our forest’s resources.

Today 4th grade was lucky to have visits from our local government leaders. First, Mayor Barbara Volk visited to talk about her role as Mayor. For the second visit of the day, Mrs. Holt, Mrs. Corn, and Ms. Case from the Board of Education joined us. Thanks for coming!

We are having a reading party in the library in honor of Dav Pilkey’s Reading Gives You Superpowers Week!

Here are some of our fun activities At our reading party: Reading Musical chairs, book raffles, and special reading centers. It’s a week to celebrate how fun and awesome reading is!

Thanks so much to Women United for sponsoring our GEM (Girls EMpowered) program for the fourth year!  Judy Hansen and Sarah Beattie delivered backpacks with middle school supplies for our GEM girls to principal Jason Joyce.
