@paimadhu Prof Peter Hotez MD PhD DSc(hon) It's Up To Us Humanity is shameless. We can’t possibly let a country have a 1% vaccination rate. I’m sure a lot of us would be willing to fund their vaccines.

@paimadhu It's Up To Us This “rich nations” rhetoric is out of touch with reality and disseminating disbelief. Switzerland is one of the top three richest nations and has vaccination rate barely above Morocco.

Minister of Autocratic Truth @paimadhu Prof Peter Hotez MD PhD DSc(hon) It's Up To Us World Health Organization (WHO) Which one? If youre referring the J+J, it's a very rare blood clot issue... and the group of people who took it are still much better off (as a group) than the people who took nothing.

According to latest #covid19 data provided by Africa CDC, 15 out of 54 countries on the continent have vaccination rates below 10% of population. #itsUpToUs to continue campaigning for increased vaccination rates because the threat of #covid19 is still very real on the continent.

Tragically, we are sleepwalking into the next variant. Political leaders are still not listening to the medical advice that is there - that we've got to increase vaccination, continue to test at a high level, and provide the new treatments available. bbc.co.uk/news/health-61…
