I still want to know where a DLP government gonna get all of this money from 😂😂. Getting rid of taxes for pensioners and lowering VAT but not increasing tax elsewhere? Not borrowing money? 🫣

Voter turnout being low is linked to multiple things…a big part is that we can’t still have the highest literacy rate anymore, because I see the way yall think, the comment section full of ppl with no real understanding of how things work…just regurgitating shit yall hear

Ruling parties cannot use taxpayer money to fund their political activities. It would give one party an unfair advantage and it’s illegal

I'm seeing lots of ppl telling the ppl of St Lucy not to complain about the water because they re-elect the MP.. but i jus got a foolish question.. so if the DLP candidate had won the seat the water woulda automatically clear up?

Here’s my take: If I was the DLP, I would get my house in order as early as possible, establish a leader, and ensure I held the BLP’s feet to the fire over these next years. At a minimum, appointment of shadow ministers, more public engagement, and apologies for the past.

Congratulations, dear Mia Amor Mottley, on your re-election to lead Barbados. Together, we have moved climate justice forward: we got financing moving, changed the rules, and carried the voice of the countries most exposed. Happy to continue these fights at your side.

What’s more sporty about all this is that Ralph said yes to the senate seat.. You cannot be serious… you should have gracefully declined and moved on.
