There is a free open-source video player called LLPlayer made for language learning. Check it out, it can generate subtitles using whisper.cpp models or load local subtitles, and click and view meanings for words, many more features. Not so great but useful.

If you want dual subs for language learning. 1) Export the subtitles as SRT. 2) Rename .srt to .txt and upload to aistudio 3) Ask Gemini Flash 2.5 to translate it to English in same SRT format 4) Copy and save the text as {filename}.en.srt with notepad and reload the LLPlayer.

In a way the algorithm mimics a manipulator's playbook: 1) Trigger 2) Isolate 3) Appear as savior 4) Keep them stressed 5) Occasionally solve problems that you introduced to maintain their trust. Algo, every hate influencer, political party and media all use similar formulas.
