Woah the DevTools colour picker tool now displays all the colours from your CSS variables, and when you select a colour, it uses the actual variable name!

Watch “What’s new in CSS” at #WWDC23 on Wednesday to learn all about the CSS that shipped in Safari 16.2–16.5, plus what’s coming this fall in Safari 17. I had the honor of making the session this year. And jammed in a lot of super helpful info about typography, color & more.

💡 React devs, it's time to start using Array.prototype.with() The easy way to replace an existing element in a React state array Much more convenient than array.splice/map 👌 ✅ ES stage-4 ✅ available in latest browsers ⚠️ 82% caniuse support ✅ polyfills

Oh boy, I sure hope this one gets added to JavaScript. Would cut down on a lot of my current .reduce() usage. Currently stage 2, Array grouping would make it easy to group items of an array. Works with Maps too, so you could use any type as a key.
