today, Harper Collins workers return to work under a new contract. in recent weeks, both Macmillan and Hachette raised starting salaries. solidarity makes everything better for everyone. congratulations to all at HarperCollins Union!

According to MIT's Living Wage Calculator, a living wage in NYC in 2023 is $25.65/hr or $53,300/yr. Film Forum currently pays as little as $15/hr for theater staff and $37,000/yr for full time admin staff. WE CANNOT MAKE ENDS MEET WITH THESE LOW WAGES!!
