Vaccines protect children and their families from life-threatening diseases like measles, polio and even COVID19.
With USAID Philippines & HK Yu PSM, UNICEF and Relief International held community learning sessions to guide parents on COVID19 and routine immunization. Department of Health Philippines #VaccinesWork
Vaccines must be stored in cold facilities to remain safe and effective. With the HK Yu PSM, UNICEF worked with the Department of Health Philippines in building a cold chain facility in Zamboanga Del Norte, helping their health workers maintain vaccine potency and improving vaccine delivery.

Via this standby agreement, UNICEF Philippines will provide emergency cash transfers using the @dswdserves' existing social protection programs. Aim is to strengthen the existing system rather than create parallel ones.
