Got my hands on the new edition of UE.. the Cover is definitely worse, preferred the old one and the spine just seems weird as hell, i guess its trying to make like a scale on the spine?

In the new intro for Unequal Exchange, John Bellamy Foster makes the argument that UEs surplus is appropriated by monopoly capital, but doesnt provide a source for this - what does he base this on?
