IOM's Chief of Staff and Regional Director visited the Islam Qala border crossing to see firsthand the support provided to vulnerable Afghan returnees from Iran. They toured facilities and heard returnees' concerns. Since April 2025, over 1.3 million Afghans have returned.

Honey’s long shelf life makes it a valuable additional income source.
