This is the 3rd time this colleague gets this on their payslip, for withholding 13 scripts. Management threatens 2 more payslips like this. MAB is over, taking this money can't shorten it. This is not proportionate but punitive; not for the sake of students but to punish staff.

As the industrial dispute at QMUL continues, I’m concerned about how management’s approach will impact the institution’s reputation. I’ve written to QMUL’s Council, requesting their intervention to help resolve matters & not oversee striking workers punished even further on pay:

It rarely happens within Industrial Relations. Especially within Higher Education Industrial Relations. But sometimes, just sometimes, the decent are exonerated while the wicked are exposed.

That's four out of four of us unfairly dismissed so far! Congratulations to my kind, brave and supportive colleagues on their vindication. As in my case, I'm not sure if 'win' is the appropriate word: nobody wins in the wilful, vindictive destruction of careers and disciplines.
