Beyond disappointing! MLB needs to step in! The San Diego Padres have a Fossil Fuel Day game today, sponsored by SDG&E, a subsidiary of the fracked methane corporation Sempra Energy, both which regularly block climate action and accelerate the climate crisis while greenwashing. 🥵

"Pioneering role of UC San Diego scientists".... We wonder if he'll mention that UC San Diego still emits over 200,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year from burning fracked methane in its power plant and buses while the Chancellor adds new buildings costing around $5 billion.

After this article dropped, the University of California took down their online database of research sponsors that they've maintained for over a decade. They're afraid, keep on pushing!
