We called #ottawa #maker community to work together facing #COVID19 and they responded. 🙏

Over the past week, the team at uOttawa Makerspace made over 1100 face shields that were given to several hospitals and clinics across #Ottawa A huge THANK YOU to our community volunteers, drivers, supporters and helpers!! And thank you to all frontline workers 🙏 #Covid_19

We have sent out 1368 face shields so far to 15 different organizations. Today alone we will be sending 532 more. I am grateful 4 our dedicated #CEED staff and #ottawa community 4 making this happen.
