Another 11 a side and another win for the Blues. 2 lads on debut in our back 3 were outstanding. Both strikers on the score sheet in a 1-3 away win against Billericay. On we go.

Delighted to have completed our squad for the season. Thought we would struggle for numbers after being ravaged by the EJA, but we have done well to get 16 players. Final friendly on Sunday before we KO our season next week at home to Springfield Reds.

That’s pre season done. Finished with 7-0 home win in the heat. Good minutes for all the boys and a hard work out against a difficult Chafford team. On to next week now for the league KO. Goals Webster 3, Hawken 2, Shipman 1 and Keeble 1.

Group A of the Brentwood Premier starts on Sunday. 5 tough games for the Blues coming up starting at home to Springfield Youth. #COYB’s!

So I decide to get involved in training on Wednesday as a goalkeeper. This ends with me fracturing my ankle in 3 places. The consultant describing it as a “motorcycle crash injury”. Surgery next week and the road to recovery begins.

So after a run of poor form we find ourselves relegated to the championship of the Brentwood league. All this means is, we go again to get back where we belong. #COYB

Delighted with the boys today. Returning to our old St Cleres stomping ground as an away team for the first time and coming away with a good 0-4 win. Let’s go again next week lads.

Really proud of the boys today. Horrible conditions, what seemed like a huge pitch and bare 11 players. Still managed to grind out a 0-1 away win. We’ve had players walk away from us this season (4) as we haven’t been on the best of runs. Now we are 3 wins from 3 and on fire.

Season ends on a massive high for our U13 Blues. 0-8 away win against Billericay brings to an end a real mixed bag of a season. From where we were to a 3rd place finish is massive. Goals from A McMahon 3, PJ 2, John, Loui and Logan. We go again next season.

Delighted for this bunch today. May and Baker group 2 winners. Played above our current level but never let anyone get the better of us. Winning the final 7-6 on pens. Big shout to our keeper Vinny, saved 4 pens and scored 1 himself.

Corringham Cosmos U14 Blues had our first and final preseason friendly beating a very good Tigers team 1-2 away from home. Season starts next week and the boys are looking good.

The boys now go into our Christmas break sitting 3rd in the league. I’ll take that. 0 points from our first 4 games to 15 from the following 5. Including coming from 0-2 down with 10 men to win the game 3-2. What a way to finish.
