It’s been a wet one but our Silver DofE groups are at the campsite after their first day of walking 16km… Really well done to them in this weather! Day 1 of 3 done!

Day 2 of the Silver Qualifying Expedition and the #resilience being shown is massive in the conditions being experienced. Camping in Edale this evening and journeying to Hayfield to finish tomorrow.

I’m just taking a load of cardboard boxes down to the recycling bins that have all been emptied by our Year 10 students collecting blank flashcards to use for their mock exam revision…That’s 20,000 flashcards collected for use by them! #BeingTheBestTheyCanBe

I’ve had a fantastic time today, being welcomed in by our Tytherington School Year 11 Food BTEC class and then being able to sample burgers and party food that they’ve made to practice their skills. It was delicious!
