#GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3 is a nice send-off for this iteration of the team. Gunn crafts an emotional story centered around the origins of Rocket. The comedy works and the needle drops are plentiful. There's tons of surprises and a hallway fight that would make Daredevil proud!

Chukwudi Iwuji is menacing as The High Evolutionary. Very much a "Space Frankenstein." Will Poulter is not the Adam Warlock from the comics but serves his narrative purpose well. Karen Gillan crushes it as Nebula once again and was a highlight of the film.
