60 yo Petite Syrah vines make this fine Napa red - complex nose, black fruit, sweet chocolate; the palate is open, generous but not overblown, high acidity and nice grainy texture (bit of stalk?) reins it all in. Complex melange of flavours: ripe plums, dark chocolate, nuts.
