We had a special author visit Turquoise class today, Zeba Talkhani. She read her book ‘The Most Exciting Eid’. It was exciting! We asked Zeba questions and listened carefully to her talking about her book. We even got a signed copy of her book to take home!

Our special guest was Queen Elizabeth I! She told us all about her life and answered lots of our questions. What a surprise!! 👑😮

In maths were were exploring what numbers could be shared equally into 4 groups.

We explored and observed a car that was in our playground and then sketched it.

We looked closely at pictures to draw houses from 1666. We noticed they were wobbly and made from a lot of wood.

We started creating horses in art.

We had a great time using our bodies to travel over and across different apparatus in PE.

We have been looking at materials in science. We looked at what happens to wood when it is burnt.

What a fantastic day with ‘Bring Your Baby’ Guided London Walks & Pub Quiz. We went to where Samuel Pepys lived and found different animals that were important to his life.

What a fantastic day we had exploring different instruments from around the world at the Horniman Museum.

Luckily we also got the chance to explore the natural history exhibition.

We had a great science day looking at the food chain of a meerkat #ColumbiaScienceDay
