Tech Bro Mariia T Yeah, that was me since age 6 too. I kinda stopped feeling that way every day when I got into my mid 20s, but now in my mid 40s, I still have it, like yesterday at bedtime, I just couldn't stop thinking about what I'd be writing today.

During Covid, I did something like this. I just scraped the government website daily for Covid data (deaths, recoveries etc) and then put some analysis and graphs on it and boom, website ready in about 48 hours 😅

So I quit my job as a director of engineering earlier this year. I was really burned out. I spent the last few months focusing on open-source development with the intention of going back to work as an engineer (not a manager). It's been amazing.
