My fave is 'The Other Side.' I was super livid about his demise. I was doing my MSc, and Dube was that connection to the continent. I mourned him for weeks.

To a country that's become my other home. It's almost four years here. I've nothing but love for Ivorians. Happy 65th 🍾 🇨🇮

Buregyeya! Insanely liberal. I dropped everything to catch up with this crazy fella. He's on a mission to fix Africa's mineral wealth. Abidjan welcomes him🫶🏿

I find it odd that people have data and time for 24/7 content, but they've zero interest in geography, current affairs, et al. Someone asked whether road transport is an option for regular West-East Africa travel. They're clueless about the continent's map. These things matter.

A successful recommendation/reference for a job, scholarship, etc. is one of the more fulfilling things in life. Now.. why would one go public about something like that? It's the kinda people who want to be surrounded by struggling friends, relatives... so they feel important.

Same script, but CPS. When the go-down restaurant still existed. Police made us pick the cars the next day. After paying for towing services. The sharing arrangement is obvious.

We've been on Sentema-Busega section for 1h or so. It's barely 3km. H4DF, UP, UC.. folks are stuck with us. They can't fly. My airport pick-up will have to sit down and drink water. As they read "Welcome to Ug" boards.

It will be a shame if the jets end up as scrap at Aero Beach. The first two arrived April 2019. The nation celebrated. Bombardier stopped the CRJ900 production a year later. Why didn't we lease? Why buy new for a model going out of production? Who ate? HOPE isn't a strategy.

I doubt Capt. Babu is ignorant about aviation. The choice of aircraft was like buying a Ferrari for Kampala's roads. The decision-makers could have taken the well-trodden path. Something familiar, easy to maintain. The same reason Toyota is a model of choice in our context.
