The personalized requirements would be aligned to a student's Individual Learning Plan. Those include: • 2 English Credits • 2 Mathematics Credits • 1 Science Credits • 1 Social Studies Credits • Work-based Learning Experiences • Career Pathways

The revised standards for social studies have been adopted into law and they will be implemented in Kentucky classrooms beginning in the 2019-2020 school year. The social studies standards will be able to be accessed at kystandards.org early next week.

"Instructional leadership" is not about improving teachers... it's about creating the conditions where teachers can improve themselves.

The concept of a lesson plan makes little sense since a teacher executes a lesson within the context of a set of lessons that serve a common purpose. It's an ineffective practice to plan one lesson at a time. We should plan from the perspective of a unit. #NASOT
