With increased tanker traffic in Burrard Inlet comes increased impacts to Tsleil-Waututh Nation territory and to the Salish Sea, including shoreline erosion, noise, air and light pollution, risk of spill, and increased stressors for the endangered Southern Resident Killer Whales.
