Last night, the Royal Canadian Geographical Society presented former Truth and Reconciliation Commission chair and former Canadian Senator Murray Sinclair with one of its highest honours: the Gold Medal, which recognizes outstanding contributions to Canada.

What a beautiful evening celebrating Honourable Murray Sinclair as he received the Royal Canadian Geographical Society gold medal for lifetime contributions to Indigenous peoples and all Canadians. Amazing to honour him along with Kimberly Murray Wab Kinew John Geiger Dene, Gazheek, Laver and Connie ❤️
