Following a short stop in the UAE 🇦🇪 to rest the Crew and replenish stores; #HMSMontrose is back at sea and ready to escort British merchant shipping in the #StraitofHormuz. She joins HMS Duncan who has remained on task throughout.

Fair winds and following seas to HMS Kent and HMS Defender who both deploy today from HMNB Portsmouth to maintain the UK’s global presence and, as we say in the Naval Prayer, be “a security for such as pass on the seas upon their lawful occasions” #ProtectingOurNationsInterests

Crane, riggers and tugs can only mean one thing; we’re sailing!
