Welcome back home HMS Duncan!

The T45 destroyer is back in HMNB Portsmouth after spending six months in the Eastern Mediterranean leading #NATO ’s premier security mission in the region.

HMS Duncan sailed more than 35,000 miles and spent 270 days of 2023 deployed.

On our way home for Christmas 🎄

The Flagship, HMS Duncan 🇬🇧, has tested her ability to winch personnel from the deck up to a hovering helicopter at sea.

The delicate manoeuvre requires absolute skill and precision from the pilot of her Wildcat MHA 2 helicopter 🚁
