Joe and I were in ATL for 48 hours. And we come home to this in the sink. Dishwasher is empty. Really, Dad? BTW, I HATE dishes in the sink… 🤦🏼‍♀️

OMFG. Arrived home from ATL to find that’s Dad’s solution to his “little fender benders in the garage” was to order a brand new GMC Yukon. It’s 15” shorter. That’s not the issue! It’s still a wide ass vehicle driven by an old man! Holy hell… 🤦🏼‍♀️

I watched the Wham! documentary on netflix⁷ last night…followed by Freedom on Paramount+. Needless to say, George Michael has been on repeat all day. Trip down memory lane. And what incredible memories they are! 💜💜💜

Going to be a busy 10 days or so! My nephew surprised us that he’s getting married on 7/26. So Aunt Angie is crocheting like a fiend to get their wedding present done in time! Only input I had was ‘dark blue.’ Fingers crossed they love it! 💜

Have I packed yet? No. Trying decide what yarn and projects to take. Clothes are an afterthought. 🤣 Jake has a washer/dryer. And with 110+ heat, clothing won’t weigh much! 🤣 I land about 5 pm tomorrow. And yes, I’m so damn excited. Miss my boy! 💜

Went clubbing with Jake and his friends last night. Danced, drank, and had a blast…until I 🤮in the car on the way home at 3 am. This old lady kept up with all the youngsters…shots and all! And I don’t feel too bad this morning. That’s a winner! 🤣🤣🤣

Happiness is…sitting on a deck in the Ozarks overlooking a lake…while laughing and sharing memories with ALL your siblings. Priceless. Love them to pieces! 💜 And yes, it’s almost 3 am. 🤣

Happiness is…air conditioned seats in this extreme heat/humidity here in IL. Can’t believe I never used them during the first 2 summers I was back here! 🤣🤣🤣

Need a laugh? I’ll be 60 yrs old Friday…and I just hid 2 cookies in my bra so my dad wouldn’t see them. Yep. I am that woman. 🤣🤣🤣

And then he just told that he found a bike in the old barn I might like…and I could always buy a bigger seat for it…. I just can’t make this shit up… 🤦🏼‍♀️

How is it possible I turn the big 6-0 today? Wow… Jake flies in later this morning. Best gift ever! 💜

Yes, I will embarrass myself here! My family threw me a surprise party on my birthday Friday. These are my 2 best friends from college. 40+ yrs as my chosen family. Still in shock…
