Day 3 we are ready! Southport Flower Show we spent some time in the #GrandFloralMarquee before the show fully opens - the displays are stunning and the sun is out! We even found a way to entertain the cadets! #MySJADay

One of our fabulous crews were given a bit of celebrity treatment today! As a unit we’ve been selected to showcase St John Ambulance England’s emergency ambulance service we provide within our communities and across events!!

This is what one proud Unit Manager looks like (even in the rain!) So far in 2019 SJA Cheshire & Mersyside District Ambulance Unit has provided emergency ambulance crews: For 110+ events, responded to a major incident, supported North West Ambulance Service during winter pressures - AND!! Provided ongoing CPD for our clinicians!

Oh.... And our work isn’t over yet, after-all it’s still only early October! I think we also forgot to mention - all this work has been undertaken by amazing Volunteers!! Volunteering Team

The St John Ambulance Merseyside team are busy getting ready for the Liverpool FC homecoming parade tomorrow. Our SJA North Region Logistics , SJA North Communications and St John Ambulance North Clinical Team functions all working together with the events team to make sure everyone has a fantastic day
