Some staff and patients at Western Memorial Regional Hospital have been evacuated as the #CornerBrook fire department responds to a smell on smoke on several floors of the building. #cbcnl

The Emergency Room remains open but elective procedures have been cancelled for today, says Western Health. #cbcnl

There was no fire found in the building. According to the fire department there was an issue with the motor of a fan, which caused the smoke. The all-clear to go back inside was given a little while ago.
