If anyone is looking for the most thoughtful present, my Mum bought me a year in books for Christmas and it’s amazing ❤️📚 (even better, some were second hand from people who mean a lot to me)

On the train out of NYC today, I played peek-a-boo with the little boy in front of me. I told him I worked for Superman. His Dad's eyes lit up and he turned to his son. "Tell her what your name is!" "Clark." I gave the Dad my contact info. That kid is getting a pile of comics.

These were the days when we weren’t allowed unlimited special FX (grads, color holds etc.) Hand-colored guides, not digital.

No matter how much I plan ahead, on deadline days I always end up eating a bag of croutons for dinner.

Today we lost a legend. Ramona Fradon was an inspiration to generations of comics professionals including myself. I was incredibly lucky to know her not only as an artist but as a friend. These are just a few of my favorite pieces we did together showcasing her timeless talent:
