Please don’t “dip” older people’s urine. Harm happens as a result: 1. Side effects of the unnecessary antibiotic. 2. Future diagnostic bias. “She’s prone to UTIs” 3. Diagnostic closure, and the team stop looking for the real cause of deterioration. (Constipation, meds, etc)
