Grateful for the safety of President Trump and all attendees. Our courageous law enforcement officers put their lives on the line to protect the public as they do every day. Political violence is never acceptable and runs counter to the values of public safety, respect, and share

A tragic day for the Chicago Police Department and all of law enforcement as we mourn the officer shot and killed—and pray for the officer seriously injured. A devastating loss for the communities they served, underscoring the grave danger faced by those in blue who protect us

Grateful President Trump is safe & that there were no injuries last night. Credit to the Secret Service for a swift response. The President showed real composure. Something is very wrong when a President faces 3 assassination attempts. Violence should have no place in America.

I’m grateful that President Trump and attendees at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner are safe, and that the Secret Service agent who was shot has been released from the hospital. Thankful for the swift, decisive response by law enforcement to subdue the suspect and protect

Political violence has no place in our country. Grateful to the heroic men and women of the Secret Service for apprehending this gun-toting madman & for ensuring the health and safety of the President, First Lady & all attendees from Saturday's White House Correspondents' dinner.

Today, we honored 103 of our fallen members at our annual Police Memorial Day Ceremony. Among the names added to our “Hall of Heroes” was Detective Didarul Islam, who was killed in the line of duty on July 28th, 2025. We will never forget these members and their service.
