What a fantastic afternoon for our family pumpkin picking event 🎃 We enjoyed picking our pumpkins from the forest, having our photo taken in the Photo Booth area and finishing off with food and drink in our hall! Thank you to our lovely parents for the support! 🎃🎃

Our explorers have been busy talking all about Diwali this week. We enjoyed learning about the special festival and enjoyed taking part in some of our own Diwali activities! 🌍

*Ready, Steady, Grow* As part of our new topic, reception enjoyed exploring seeds. We discussed where seeds come from before exploring a range of different seeds! We really enjoyed this activity. We can’t wait to continue building our knowledge of seeds before we begin planting!

“The big clean up” We enjoyed taking ownership of our outdoor area today. We worked hard preparing our space ready for our new planting garden. We enjoyed painting our wood work, new chalk board and de-weeding our planters 🪴

Rec/Y1 enjoyed further developing our garden area today. We can’t wait to see what grows 🪴
