🚗🐢 Watch out for wildlife! TRCA is out doing road ecology research, and this tiny turtle is a BIG reminder of why it matters. Spring means turtles, frogs, and salamanders are crossing roads and trails to reach breeding habitats — and they need our help to get there safely.

We’ve partnered with Toronto and Region Conservation Authority to make turtle crossing improvements on North Lake Road. Sections of curb have been cut and asphalt ramps will be in place May to November each year to help turtles cross safely between wetlands. #worldturtleday
