If U move betw Osaka/Kyoto and Tokyo during typhoon, I recommend using planes instead of Shinkansen. Trains may stop or move very slowly.

If Shinkansen stops between stations, no way to escape. A friend of mine experienced whole day stay. So I avoid it in severe weather. #Japan

If u take flt from KIX, check flt status b4 going. KIX is island airport, only the way to there is a bridge which closes in storm. #Japan
