@Coleens_ Time to push my nerd glasses up! WLAN like LAN is layer 2 it switches frames not packets. Ethernet & 802.11 are cross-compatible standards equivalently capable of interacting with IP (layer 3). Why is this confusing? Most WiFi APs are also routers. Most switches are not 🤓
