After swinging a pick for 3 days to chisel corn out of the drier silo it was a nice change to drive the chopper for for cob meal again!

Has anyone replaced the hydraulic hose lengths on their y-drops with any other type of hose? Concerned that as they wear the wire in the hose may be tearing the corn. Tried clear milk hose but seems to bounce too much.

Driest year ever and my new silos are taking on humidity and and bridging. Old silos had the bottom come ring on the inside and are fine. Any ideas?
