Asked if our alarms handle extreme cold. They run daily in Canada and as far north as Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Cold kills cheap electronics. Ours keep working. Industrial components. No cloud. Built for failure to not be an option. Trailer-Alarms.com builds for winter.

Was called to run a cable for a camera on this truck. But who the hell wants to roll around on the ground in the snow? Oh wait, it’s 65 and on concrete. Not the easiest of jobs to make a clean run for the cable, but a buddy told me once, “it’s only work”. I’m not afraid of work!

Value comes from experience. Experience takes time. Over 20 years showed us what works and what fails. Shortcuts cost trailers. Industry awards and real results back it up. That is the value we mean.

Uncomfortable truth. Trailer theft is rarely high priority. Reports get filed. Then you wait. Once it is gone, control is gone. The G2 from Trailer-Alarms.com helps you avoid that. Alerts. Siren. Lights. Evidence. Prevention beats paperwork.

Friday the 13th. Some trust luck. Thieves trust opportunity. A 4 leaf clover will not stop a trailer from disappearing. A security system will. • Instant alerts • Siren and flashing lights • Brake lock • GPS tracking Bad luck is random. Theft is not.

A client insisted on a special order acc. I recommended something else. In writing. 90 days later: “You were right. Can we exchange it?” No. Special orders are not rentals. The customer is not always right. The customer is always the customer. Ownership travels w/ the decision.

2026 cell coverage still is not everywhere. G2 uses satellites for location and cell towers to send data. Satellites tell it where it is. Cell towers tell you. Weak signal? Commands lag. Alerts delay. Not a G2 issue. Infrastructure issue. Poor coverage = poor communication.

Real racing parts manufacturers run our system. We are not affiliated with these teams. A supplier to both protects its trailers with us! They know one theft can sideline customers and damage reputation. Uptime wins. Downtime costs. 20+ years in, we still take that seriously.

AirTag only? That tells me one of two things: • You think theft is rare • You value your trailer about as much as a dinner receipt AirTags are for lost keys. Not stolen race or work trailers.

Newest project. Had to cover some things on the trailer, but after the last government project I am being WAY pro-active and sharing things this group probably hasn’t thought of and didn’t ask. It looks like a straight forward trailer, but the 28 page schematic says otherwise.

Before You Compare, Define the Goal Most buyers start with price. That is backwards. Start here instead: • What are you protecting • Do you want alerts only, GPS only, or both • Is this prevention or just recovery A cheap unit that fails once is expensive. Know the mission.

Questions Smart Buyers Ask Before you buy, ask: • What actually triggers an alert • How are alerts delivered • How accurate is the GPS • What does real world battery life look like • Who answers the phone if there is a problem Security is not the place for vague answers.

Coverage & Installation Matter If you are considering a cellular based system. • How strong is the signal where your trailer sits • Who installs it • Is wiring hidden and protected • Are antennas placed correctly The system can only communicate if the network allows it.

Think Long Term, Not Just Purchase Day Buying a trailer alarm is not a one time transaction. Consider: • Warranty length • Ongoing support • Upgrade paths • Real people behind the company Security should reduce stress. Not add to it.

Drilling holes in a trailer roof makes some owners sweat. Some installs don’t need a roof penetration at all. Today we tested a side air vent setup for the G2 system. Brought the vent in. Mocked up the install. Ran the antenna. Verified signal. It worked exactly like we expected.
