Delighted that our Deputy Prime Minister, Angela Rayner took the time to visit the Johnnie Walker Experience. As well as the tour we had the chance to meet Sophie, who having completed her apprenticeship is now working with the brand. Thanks to everyone for taking us on the tour
Was good to catch up with Sophie Moxon, Executive Director of Edinburgh International Book Festival. Excited to see how we can further develop the work she and others are already part of across Edinburgh North and Leith including with North Edinburgh Arts Also thrilled to meet local poet and author, Jenni Fagan
Deputy PM @angelarayner visited Edinburgh last week. While there she: 🤝Met First Minister 🤝 Visited Social Bite to hear about the work they are doing to help end homelessness 🤝 Visited the Johnnie Walker distillery to find out how they are backing British business
We all have the capacity to love humanity but we don’t all have the same bravery to serve humanity as aid worker Linda Norgrove, her extraordinary family LindaNorgroveFoundation and these 19 trailblazing women. It was the deepest privilege to welcome my new sisters to Scotland.
Delighted to join Lisa Nandy MP & Anas Sarwar as well as professionals across all the creative industries. Excited about their enthusiasm for growing the economy through their commitment to working with a Labour government to maximise their opportunities in Edinburgh North and Leith
Does Jonathan Reynolds know his Scotch? Time to put him to the test đź‘€
Finally get to meet fellow Leither, Jo Caulfield. I highly recommend the show. Only a few days left!
Two great teams out on door steps across #Warriston and #Leith over the last two days for my door step surgeries. We picked up lots of issues - if you feel I can help you please e-Mail me at [email protected]
This morning I visited Forth Ports to see the work being undertaken to secure new green jobs in Leith. The energy transition is already happening but we need to work together to secure the wider economic benefits for communities across Edinburgh North and Leith
While I welcome todays Contract for Difference AR6 results, slow Scottish Government consenting processes means that SSE Renewables Berwick Bank isn't one of the projects. I am pleased Ed Miliband confirmed he would work with all Governments to ensure faster processes.
Fantastic charity, if able please support Malcolm Chisholm 💪🏻❤️
