Cool & laidback vibe at 200 Degrees Coffee on Lower Temple Street, #Birmingham. Just popped in for a morning #coffee but looks like a great spot to work. Their espresso blend is full of chocolate flavour and milk brings out delicious caramel. It’s quite mellow but bold enough for a latte.

#Brunch at the Grand Central Kitchen in #Birmingham is good cafe food done well and with a twist. I had The Big Breakfast on a ciabatta, which contains bacon, sausage, cheese and an omelette. The #coffee is a bit bitter for my taste & there’s not much room but the food is superb.

Enjoyed a working session at Faculty in the Piccadilly Arcade, #Birmingham. The #coffee is bold and rich with a finish that goes on forever. I didn’t eat but the food looks amazing

Watching the #BritOpen23 at the Rep and listening to the SQUASHTV commentary. There’s a 30 second delay, which makes it even funnier when PJ says “stone wall stroke all day long” and I already know he’s wrong! 😂 Every single time.

Fantastically fast and free flowing squash by Mazen Hesham and Karim Abdel Gawad at the #BritOpen23 Pure exhibition stuff. Unbelievable advert for the game.

I love a good Eggs Benedict but the Wayland's Yard version is delightfully different. BBQ pulled pork, cheese and fried onions on a decent slice of toast. Had to have a side of hash browns and they did not disappoint. Coffee is excellent too and good, friendly service.

Loving the extra technical punditry by Laura Massaro MBE on SQUASHTV. The analysis of forehand swings in this first match has been fascinating.

Too easy to point to unforced errors by the Falcon but Ali Farag deserves enormous credit for unrelenting pace and pressure to create those errors. A great example of how to execute a game plan.
