Last week, NYCDCC participated in Division of Multilingual Learners’s career fair, where we taught local high school students about our union and apprenticeship program. It was awesome seeing them pumped about good-paying opportunities in the trades that don't require a college degree.
We were honored to attend Nontraditional Employment for Women's Leadership Awards Luncheon yesterday. CCA Metro, the NYC District Council of Carpenters, and its contractors are proud supporters of NEW and their efforts to promote women's participation in the construction industry.
